I didn't know what to think of this book to be honest. For one, i find the characters okay but not awesome. I a not saying i dislike them but most of then are a bit annoying and unrealistic. The first impression i get from Cath the main chracter is she's kind of clingy and childish. Like she's not really 18 years old and i am not saying that because she likes to read and write about simon and snow. Just her personality in terms of the way she reacts to things and the way she treats people. However, i do like how i can relate most of the things she's going through in uni life and as i read on, i was like 'i know girl, yeh i know how you feel'.

Cath and her twin Wren's relationship is very close and i like that part of the book. The family parts and how close they are. I really dislike their mum....REALLY....SO IRRESPONSIBLE AND HATEFUL.

The relationship Wren has with ---- is very cute and it kind of gets the readers like me. The very things we imagine or did when we had out first bf ahah. Rainbow Rowell makes me feel like she's someone i know, like she understands us all fangirls.

The book was such an easy read and the chapters have just the right amount. The characters developed a lot, especially Cath. I feel like she learned a lot from people around her as she made more friends in the first year of uni.

The fanfiction that Cath was writing wasn't that interesting for me. I mean it was kind of weird that at the end of every chapter, there's a section of simon and snow written by Cath and the 'original author'. This is because the parts are all placed randomly. Like one minute i am reading a part from Cath's fanfic from 2011 then it goes back to 2012 then it goes to 2010. I have to admit, it's kinda confusing.

Overall, i see why this book is popular with YA group because it's so relatable but in terms of story plot, there wasn't anything interesting or distinctive.
